BIRCH NATURAL WOOD

Natural Birch quarter cut wood veneer is light brown to yellow; the heartwood is usually brown, sometimes tinged with red.
Common Uses: Architectural panels, cabinetry and doors, as well as furniture.
The Tree: Widely distributed in the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere in the form of almost 40 species that vary in size from small shrubs to some of the largest deciduous forest trees.
A Little History: There are almost 120 distinct species of Birch. Birch trees have distinctive bark, which tends to peel.
