Cedar of Lebanon grows in the mountainous regions of the Eastern Mediterranean basin. Primarily used as an ornamental tree, it is highly valued due to consistent color, straight grain and historical significance. The heartwood is typically light yellow with a light red or brown hue. In contrast, the sapwood is usually pale yellow or almost white.
Because this wood is easy to work with hand and machine tools alike, it turns, glues, and finishes well. This live edge slab measures 9.58′ long x 62.60″ wide x 3.27″ deep. You can also view our Cedar of Lebanon veneer here.
