Tasmanian Myrtle (also known as Myrtle Beech) live edge slab heartwood ranges in color from yellow to pink and red hues mixed in and is naturally very colorful. Can have a wavy or curly grain which also has a satin like luster. Sometimes called Myrtle Beech because this species is closely related to beech; also sometimes referred to Silver Beech.
