Keyaki

Keyaki, a native tree in China, Japan and Korea, is a member of the Japanese elm family. It is a large shade tree, commonly used in parks. The sapwood is yellow white while the heartwood is yellow brown, almost a light gold.

Keyaki wood is an amazing tabletop option. Historically used as a building material, it is strong and durable. In addition to it’s durability, it is also elastic in nature and resistant to breaking. This Keyaki slab measures 14.67′ long x 41.34″ wide x 2.56″ deep – it is one of our widest Keyaki slabs in inventory! You can also view our Keyaki veneer here.
