Keyaki (Japanese Elm), a native tree in China, Japan and Korea, is a member of the Japanese elm family. It is a large shade tree, commonly used in parks. The sapwood is yellow white while the heartwood is yellow brown, almost a light gold.

Bold accurately describes this available slab. Incredibly rare, this large half-round slab most likely originated in high elevation of the Hawaiian island it came from.
