Hickory flat cut wood veneer sapwood is nearly all white while the heartwood is creamy to pinkish-brown with dark streaks. Straight, close-grained and medium to fine textured. Can also be rustic.

The Tree: Typically reaches heights between 100-120 feet, with trunk diameters usually between 2-3 feet.
