Found exclusively in the salt marshes and swamps of the northern islands of New Zealand. Kauri trees are among the most massive trees in the world, rivalling giant redwoods; they are reportedly thousands of years old and harvested responsibly.
Fine straight grain and an even, silky texture—ranges in color from a light biscuit color, to yellow and reddish brown. This Kauri slab measures 11.42′ long x 47.24″ wide x 2.76″ deep. Check out some of our customers’ finished tables here for inspiration.
