EBONY AMARA WOOD

Amara Ebony quarter cut wood veneer has streaks of peach or pink. More brown tones are in Black Ebony, therefore Amara Ebony is lighter and consequently more pink. Also known as Macassar Ebony.
Common Uses: Acoustic panels, architectural panels, millwork and high-end cabinetry, as well as doors, furniture and store fixtures. Also a good choice for musical instruments.
Other Names: Marblewood, Macassar Ebony.
The Tree: A generally small tree, averaging only 50 feet in height with an average trunk diameter of 16 inches.
