OAK BURL WOOD

Oak burl wood veneer sapwood is white to light brown. Heartwood is dark to golden brown with beautiful burl figure. Also coarse textured.
Common Uses: Architectural panels, cabinetry, doors and millwork, as well as furniture.
Other Names: Eastern White Oak, American White Oak.
The Tree: Native to North America, typically reaching heights between 70-80 feet, with trunk diameters between 2-3 feet.
