Black Ebony quarter cut wood veneer contrast is sometimes between nearly white and black wood. Sapwood is white or yellow to brown and red. Straight grain with a fine uniform texture, lustrous. Also known as Macassar Ebony.
Common Uses: Acoustic panels, architectural panels, millwork and high-end cabinetry, as well as doors, furniture and store fixtures. Also a good choice for musical instruments.
