Not to be confused with Kauri, another massive Australian tree, Karri live edge heartwood is golden to red brown. It also sometimes has an orange or purple cast; its color tends to darken with age. Furthermore, Karri wood is often for flooring, furniture, cabinetry, plywood, and other construction purposes.
