Black Ebony flat cut wood veneer heartwood is uniformly black with handsome streaks. These streaks range from pale to medium brown. Black Ebony flat cut wood veneer contrast is sometimes between nearly white and black wood. Sapwood is white or yellow to brown and red. Straight grain with a fine uniform texture, lustrous. Also known as Macassar Ebony.
Common Uses: Acoustic panels, architectural panels, millwork and high-end cabinetry, as well as doors, furniture and store fixtures. Also a good choice for musical instruments.
