Olive Ash burl wood veneer color ranges from a creamy, or even pale, tan to yellow and brown, with darker brown markings, showing high contrast; very decorative.
Common Uses: Architectural panels, cabinetry, ceilings, dashboard pieces, doors, as well as furniture and marquetry.

The Tree: Depending on soil and climate, can grow 80-100 feet with diameters between 2-5 feet.
A Little History: During WWI, Olive Ash was used to construct aircraft. This wood was ideal for the structure of aircraft because of its flexibility and strength.
